Hi, I’m Hannah

I’m a nurse practitioner, a mom, and someone who understands that managing your fertility is deeply personal.

My work in the fertility space comes from both my professional experience and my personal life. Before I started helping people navigate infertility, I experienced and have asked many of the same questions myself.

MY STORY

I was diagnosed with PMOS (formerly PCOS) when I was 27 after getting married and trying to grow my family. Eventually I was diagnosed with secondary infertility.

During that time, I spent hours online trying to figure out "Why is my body not working the way it should?" “What do my labs mean?” and “What should I ask at my next appointment?

That experience stayed with me as I became a nurse practitioner. Fertility care involves more than lab values, medications, and timelines. It also involves having space to ask questions, understand the information you’re given, and feel supported through an experience that can carry a lot of emotion.

I bring my professional background and personal understanding to the work I do. I know that everyone’s circumstances are different, and I don’t believe anyone’s story should be compared with someone else’s.

Why I created The Fertility Clarity Journal

During my own fertility journey, I learned how much there is to remember and how many questions can come up along the way. As a medical provider I saw how helpful it can be for patients to arrive at an appointment with their thoughts gathered and your questions ready, allowing me to both provide support and have time to do my assessment and orders.

I created The Fertility Clarity Journal to bring those two perspectives together in a resource shaped by both lived experience, and professional work.

The Fertility Clarity Journal is an educational and organizational resource. It is intended to support you through your workup with your medical provider. It does not provide medical advice or replace care from your clinician.

My work with The Mama Coach

I offer fertility-related support and education through my practice at The Mama Coach. My available one-on-one services depend on your needs and location, and clinical services are offered only in states where I’m licensed. I do offer classes and webinars that are not individual-specific but can be accessed by anyone no matter their location.

My Mama Coach practice is also where you can find my broader family-support services, including pregnancy, newborn, and CPR-related offerings.
